On May 1,2012, Capital One® purchased the majority of HSBC Bank Nevada N.A.'s credit card accounts. If your account was included in the sale, you should have already received several communications about the transition to Capital One. The transition information on this web site applies to Orchard Bank, Household Bank®, Fifth Third Optimum and other HSBC Bank Nevada N.A. general purpose credit cards (Visa® or MasterCard® credit cards). This information doesn't apply to store-branded credit cards, merchant-branded credit cards, Discover® and American Express® general purpose credit cards, or to accounts accessible at accountcentralonline.com. Why do some communications appear to be from Capital One, while others appear to be from HSBC?
Transitions like these take some time. You can expect to see more and more communications from Capital One later this year. After that, all materials regarding your account will come directly from Capital One. Until then, please pay special attention to your mailbox, inbox, and statements because you may receive communications with the Capital One name and HSBC name.Will I get a new credit card with the Capital One logo on it?
Yes. You'll receive a brand-spanking new card with a Capital One logo on it later this year. Until then, continue to use your card as you do today.If I have other HSBC accounts, such as a car loan or savings account, are they affected as a result of this transition?

Can I keep using my current credit card?
Absolutely! Continue to use your credit card as you do today. Later this year, your new Capital One® card will arrive in your mailbox.Should I expect any changes to my current credit card number?
Nearly all customers will keep the exact same account number they have today. However, a small number of customers may need to receive new numbers. For customers receiving new numbers, we're committed to keeping you well-informed so you know what to expect.I saw a commercial for a Capital One credit card on TV. Can I exchange my credit card for that credit card?
Unfortunately, it's not yet possible to exchange your current credit card for a different Capital One credit card. However, you're always welcome to apply for other Capital One credit card products.When will I be able to get
Capital One benefits such as Image Card, Capital One Deals, and the Mobile App?
You will be able to enjoy these and other Capital One perks after you receive your new Capital One card and the transition is complete later this year.
I have Access Checks. Can I still use them?
Of course! We wouldn't want you to have Access Checks without being able to access them. So, continue to use your checks the same as always—to transfer higher-rate balances or make purchases at places that don't accept credit cards. But, please remember, you can't use them to pay off the balance of a Capital One account.Can I transfer balances between my credit card account I originally opened with HSBC and a different Capital One account?
You won't be able to transfer balances between the card account moving toCapital One and other Capital One accounts. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Where and how should I pay my credit card bill?
Please keep paying your credit card bill the same as always (by mail, phone, or online).
Starting with your October 2012 statement, the "P.O. Box" number on your payment coupon changed. As long as you remember to include your payment coupon within the envelope supplied by Capital One®, your payment will be sent to the correct address.
I have expenses that are automatically charged to my credit card, such as a monthly gym membership fee. Will those still go through?
Yes, those automatic charges to your credit card will continue to go through. However, a small number of customers will receive new account numbers. If your account number changes, you'll need to let the merchant know about the new number. Also, if your card's security code (last 3 digits on the back of your card) or expiration date changes, you'll need to update your payment info with the merchant.Can I continue to pay my bill and manage my account online?
Absolutely! For now, you can still pay your bill and view your account information at your existing service website, which you'll find printed on your statement. Later this year, after your account fully transitions toCapital One, you'll begin using our online banking service. Before this transition is complete, you will be able to learn more about how to manage your account online by returning to this site. Until then, and before anything happens, you'll receive plenty of information about upcoming changes to ensure you enjoy a seamless online transition to Capital One.
When will you credit my payment to my account?
As of May 15th payments that are received by 5pm ET on Monday through Saturday will be credited to your account on they day they are received. Payments received after 5:00 p.m. ET or anytime on Sunday, Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Year's Day may not be credited on the same day. However, if your payment due date falls on a Sunday or one of those holidays then payments made that day will still be considered on time. If you mail a payment, give it 5-7 days to make its way to Capital One.MORE QUESTIONS?

No worries here. As of May 1, 2012, your credit history transferred to Capital One® and your credit report should reflect theCapital One name on your account. Your credit score was not affected by the name change.
I currently earn rewards on my credit card. Where can I get more information about my rewards program?
You'll receive detailed information about your new Capital One rewards program before your Capital One card arrives later this year.What is Capital One doing to protect the privacy and security of my account today?
- You're always protected by our $0 Fraud Liability Policy. Whether you use your credit card online or in stores, you won't be liable for any fraudulent or unauthorized charges.
- We're monitoring your account every day for suspicious activity to protect your personal and financial information. We'll be sure to let you know if we see something fishy.
- Capital One will never send you an e-mail with an attachment. If you receive an attachment in an e-mail that appears to be from Capital One, don't open it. Simply delete the e-mail and report it as SPAM.
- Capital One will never send you an e-mail threatening to close your account if you don't respond immediately.
- Our agents will not ask you over the phone to provide your online banking password or answers to your online security questions.
